"The real is augmented by our own history,"
- We see so much more than what is given to see! The real is augmented by our own history, by our memory. Each gives it its dimension, it does not exist without us; the real is what we take from it, what we have been and what we expect. We see beyond the real. Métachronie is a neologism created by the artist to name the proposed series: from the Greek Meta, after, beyond and Kronos, time, photo, light. Work of superposition, overprinting and transparency by photography. It is the successive overlaps that create the depth and emergence of the image.
