The name CANOPY (the canopy in French) designates the upper level of the tropical forest where many species still unknown to man live. This place is the canopy of a forest of artists: to discover talents and release energies. Explore art, create friendly encounters in the neighborhood and nearby, around art. To meet and listen to the amateur, the passer-by, the artist, the collector, the inhabitant of the neighborhood.
Our vision
L'ESPACE CANOPY is a cultural space, association Law 1901.
It is located near the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, a stone's throw from the La Chapelle metro station, in a multi-ethnic district, open to Europe and the World and which already conceals in it potential for creativity and humanity.
L'ESPACE CANOPY is an artistic exhibition space but also a place of artistic and social expression, offering guided tours. This place tends to bring together and mix several disciplines, with the aim of creating synergies and bridges between the actors of artistic creation today.
Moving
The Canopy Space has been part of an environmental and societal transition process since September 2012, becoming a place to welcome and develop innovative and united economic and social experiences to reflect on simple ways of being a responsible actor of its environment, and act on it.
